Engineering Weekly

In our daily work, tools like Slack help us stay connected asynchronously, but sometimes we need to synchronise on broader topics. That's where our 'Engineering Weekly' all-hands meetings come in. These gatherings serve as a dedicated time for ensuring alignment, sharing important updates, and discussing upcoming social events.

Led by Gavin, with contributions from anyone else in the team with updates, these meetings cover a range of topics, including customer or project updates, company-wide news, and industry insights. They also shine a spotlight on outstanding achievements and behaviours within the team. We have dedicated part of the meeting recently to a collective research exercise: designing our own shipping company. It has been a fascinating process, highlighting how each person's research uncovers different nuances and illustrating how various industry aspects interconnect. Towards the end, there's always an opportunity for questions or discussions related to the agenda or any relevant team matters.
