Time Tracking ⏱️

Spending endless hours trying to remember what you've specifically worked on the past days, weeks & months is a painful process we all know too well. At times, however, it's important to report what we've spent our time on. On Ceataec's side we try to limit the need for individuals to do this reporting as much as possible. Usually your direct manager will take responsibility for reporting yours and everyone's time on their behalf. Keep in mind that in some countries some ways of employment pose time reporting as individual's responsibility. If this affects you, you are expected to comply with those requirements.

Holiday Calendar 🏖️

To enable us to be as flexible and async as possible, we need to be transparent on when our team members can rely on us.

For this we use a shared calendar 📅 that everyone in Product & Engineering are automatically invited to. Everyone is expected to add days off or half days off into this calendar, so your team members aren't trying to find you on days you're not around.

Everyone has a minimum of 25 days off per year, no matter your location. We trust people to keep track on their reminding days off. Because we are an international remote company, people in some regions might need follow some region specific processes for tracking holidays.

Public Holidays 🎉 🎄

Since we have people in a range of different countries around the world, it's common for us to have public holidays at different times. We're also flexible for you to take public holidays at different times if that's better for you. For example, if there is a public holiday in your country on a Thursday, but you would prefer to take that day off on the Friday, then that's no problem. Just be sure to keep it updated in our shared calendar.
